After that, you remove the stopper (like corks attached to the bottom of the window. Once that is done, you simple pull the window out. Then you remove the middle regulator guide screws (I want to say 4 total, two at the top and bottom of the door). Then you remove the 3 holding the motor in. Then you do some gymnastics and pull the regulator out.

Remove the 3 metal frame pieces marking which side goes up (important). (HARD) Carefully and gently remove the top & back panel & rain rail from the studs and lift slightly out of the interior. The rain rail is very fragile. The top and back panel are all riveted (really grommeted) to the rain rail.

I then placed the 2x4 again on the wall, lined up the lines, and drilled in the first lag screw through the 2x4 and into the wall stud.
