GTA IV pros: -Story makes more sense and it's overall better. -driving psychics are more realistic, which makes the driving more satisfying for me. In Gta 5 you can take corners with full throttle, if you do the same in Gta 4 you crash. Also suspension feels better. Basically the overall behavior of cars feels just more realistic.

It has aged in some parts and because of console limitations at that time, but if you like it you will like it more than GTA V. This is the least GTA game ever and i love it. #19.
