Microwave them in short bursts of 10-15 seconds until they become soft. Be careful not to overdo it; the cookies can become too soft or lose their texture. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Wrap the stale cookies in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Heat them in the oven for about 5-10 minutes.
Fresh bread is one of the most delicious foods on earth. But stale bread is a bummer. You buy a beautiful baguette, use half of it, and by the time you want to finish it the following day it's as hard as a rock. But don't despair! There's actually a way to revive stale bread, and even though it's a little strange, it really works.
Don't worry, as this can be remedied. Dampen a strip of paper towels, probably about 4, depending on how large your loaf of bread is. The paper towels should be damp and not soaking wet. Place the dampened loaf in loosely secured foil and place in the oven at a medium heat for just 3 to 4 minutes. Some people prefer to dampen the loaf with milk
Softening stale bagels in the oven. Time: 5 minutes. Rating: 8/10. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Run your bagel under hot water until the outside is completely damp but not saturated (I don’t know why hot water works better, but it does ). Place the bagel on a wire rack in the oven and heat it for around 5 minutes.
